N.D. (NewsDakota.com) A game of errors and timely hitting ended being just what the Jamestown Blue Jays were looking for in the quarterfinal round of the state softball Tournament.
Jamestown defeated Valley City 12-6 while scoring only 3 earned runs in the game.
Blue Jays leadoff hitter Mariah Wick was perfect at the dish. Wick batted 3-3 with 3 runs scored, 3 stolen bases and 2 walks.
MacKenzine Pederson lead Valley City going 3-3 with 2 runs scored and one walk.
