N.D. (NewsDakota.com) Dickinson’s Abigayle Jones was too much for the Jamestown Blue Jays hitters in the semifinals of the state softball tournament. 

Jones pitched a complete game 7 inning shutout against the Jays. She struck out 8 hitters while giving up just 2 hits and 1 walk in Dickinson’s 8-0 win over Jamestown. 

Kadie Anderson lead the Blue Jays from the plate going 1-2 with a walk. 

Jamestown moves into the 3rd place game of the state tournament tomorrow against Bishop Ryan at 1:00 p.m. Mountain Time/2:00 p.m. Central Standard Time. You can listen to the game on ESPN Jamestown AM 1400/97.1 FM.

Dickinson will go up West Fargo in the championship.
