(NewsDakota.com) The 44th annual Irrigation Days is this weekend in Oakes.

The kick-off is tonight at 5:30 with a burger and hot dog feed at the Dickey County Historical Park, followed by a free concert.

Now through Sunday the Thomas Brothers Carnival is available. The parade is set for 6 p.m. Friday, with a street dance featuring Kid Hollywood from 9:30 p.m. to 1:30 a.m. on Main Avenue Friday night.

Saturday features the Sue McClain 5K Fun-Run walk at 8:30 a.m., the NAPA Parts car show starting at 9 a.m., the three person golf scramble at 11 a.m., the Bar S Rodeo at 6 p.m., and another street dance featuring Silverado from 9:30 p.m. to 1:30 a.m.

Guitarist David Smart will perform on Sunday from 11 a.m. until noon, with the demolition derby at 1 p.m.
