(NewsDakota.com) – We are still over nine weeks away from the 2015 football opener, but USA Football released their preseason All-American lists. Three University of Jamestown standouts found their way onto the comprehensive list; safety Wes Worthen, LB Jarelle Miller, and WR Mike Sena. All three will be seniors for the Jimmies this fall.

Miller was named an NAIA/AFCA second-team All-American last year (which is the official list recognized by the NAIA) after a breakout junior season. Miller lead the team with 82 tackles and his 49 solo stops alone would have put him 4th on the team.

Worthen is coming off a strong year with 51 tackles and 6.5 TFL in nine games. He missed the home game against Mayville State following the death of his mother, his team went out and scored nine touchdowns, matching his jersey number.

Sena broke the school record for career catches as a junior and will try to put it out of reach as a senior. He and Beau Erikkson hooked up 10 times for scoring plays.

The Jimmies will open their season on August 29th at Rollie Greeno Field against Valley City State.
