N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The NDSU Extension Service in Stutsman County has been working hard to finish up numerous projects before the start of the Stutsman County Fair today.

According to the groups Facebook page, work on the stalls were completed in June and they have cemented the whole west side of the livestock barn. Bleachers were also painted near the presenting area and on June 30th, it was announced that work on the new crow’s nest had been finished.

The new nest and arena was dedicated to Teresa “Luck” Steele, who passed away in 2013 after her fight with breast cancer. Steele had been working for the NDSU Extension Service of Stutsman County for 35 years. The naming dedication will be held Thursday, July 2nd at 11:30 AM.
