CITY, ND – (NewsDakota.com) 15 year-old Trenton Koch has been riding bulls since he was 8 years-old. Koch has won a number of bull riding events and was the 2013 Western Edge Jr. Bull Riding year end Champion.  

This year he won bull riding events in Valley City and Dickinson along with the second round at the State Finals in Bowman, North Dakota. Koch is the youngest of the 4 qualifiers from North Dakota at the age of 15. Koch is going to be a junior at Valley City High School this fall. 

The National High School Finals Rodeo is being held in Rock Springs, WY.  The rodeo is July 12-18.

Koch will also be participating in the North Dakota High School Rodeo Association in September at the North Dakota Winter Show Event Center. 

Trenton Koch is the son of Joe & Rachael Koch who live north of Valley City along with his sister Jessa. His grandparents are Dana & Val Storbeck and Randy & Peggy Koch.
