N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The day has finally arrived for Dacotah Bank to open its doors to the Jamestown Community.

Work started on the Jamestown building in May 2014. According to the company, the location is the 34th in the group that serves North Dakota, South Dakota, and Minnesota. With its flagship bank just 100 miles south of Jamestown in Aberdeen, South Dakota, the bank as well as Dacotah Insurance celebrated their 50th anniversaries in 2014. The new bank location is located near Walmart south of I-94 and west of U.S. Highway 281.

The bank’s regional president in Rolla stated that the new bank is 8,000 square feet and the current plans will allow for expansion to about 12,000 square feet. Dacotah Bank was established in 1955 and has since grown to be America’s 18th largest lender to agricultural producers and serves over 60,000 clients.
