SEUER, M.N. (NewsDakota.com) After winning the North Dakota State Class B Championship in Lamoure earlier this month, Post 25 made their way to the Central Plains Regional Tourney. 12 teams partook in the four day tournament from August 6th – 9th, starting with pool play and then a single elimination tourney. Post 25 played 42 innings in three days, wins three games and drops one and finishes as one of the top four teams in the Central Plains.
THURSDAY, pool play – Carrington 7 River Falls, WI 6, 12 innings
FRIDAY, pool play – Carrington 4 Le Seuer, MN 1
FRIDAY, single elimination tourney – Carrington 13 Wahpeton 12, 14 innings, 4 hour game
SATURDAY, single elimination tourney – Foley, MN 6 Carrington 4, 9 innings
Patrick Freeman, Easton Paeper and Brady Smith were named to the all-tourney team.
Foley, MN beat Wisconsin Dells, WI 1-0 in the championship game.
