N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Northwest Jamestown experienced power outages yesterday after separate incidents caused power lines to be snagged and taken down.

Otter Tail Power Company stated that at around 1:10 PM yesterday, a high profile vehicle had snagged the lines on a power pole in the 900 block of 4th Street Northwest, taking two of them down. The result was a power outage for nearly 830 customers in Jamestown. A majority had power within the next half-hour, but a few customers were without power until about 6:00 PM.

Ottertail crews installed three new poles and re-strung lines in the area.
