N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – With boarding’s having doubled in the past year, the need for TSA security officers has risen at the Jamestown Regional Airport.

Jamestown Regional Airport Manager Samuel Seafeldt issued a release stating the need for more officers at the airport. The job includes part-time work with full-time benefits and Samuel stated that a similar call was issued earlier this year without any success.

“Since I started as Manager at the airport 11 months ago, I have noticed their staffing shortage. They are currently utilizing the same amount of officers at the security checkpoint that they had in the previous years, but the problem is that we have doubled our boardings.”

Individuals can apply online through September 17th.
