N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Blind Joe is good at two things: Singing and inspiring. Today in Jamestown, he’s done both.

Fargo North High School graduate Joseph Bommersbach is originally a Kindred native who now lives in Grand Rapids, Minnesota. He first auditioned for the NBC singing competition show “The Voice” in February. During the blind auditions, Joe had all four chairs turned around by the celebrity judges.

Joe ultimately selected judge and country music star Blake Shelton to be his coach. The ninth season of “The Voice” premieres from 7 to 9 pm central time Monday and Tuesday on NBC.

You can listen to Joe’s story in an interview with KQDJ’s Warren Abrahamson below.
