CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) The North Dakota Winter Show will be extended to an eight day show next year starting on Saturday, March 5th and ending Saturday, March 12.

Manager Dawn Riley says the concert will be Saturday, March 5th and the PRCA Rodeo will be held Friday March 11th and Saturday March 12th.

During the annual meeting held on October 12th Riley talked about the $4 million dollar economic impact that the North Dakota Winter Show has on the Valley City community.

Riley said the annual local economic impact from the North Dakota Winter Show Event Center grew from $2 million in 2011 to $4 million in 2015. She attributes the growth to the addition of several events including more horse shows and the Junior High and High School Rodeo event held in September.
