N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Officials are saying a second road access to the Jamestown Regional Medical Center is on hold until at least next spring while the council finds ways to pay for the project.

According to the Jamestown Sun, the hotel, convention center, shopping and apartment complex will not be moving forward this fall, but may continue next spring. The preliminary plan includes a 140-room hotel, 20,000 square-foot retail anchor with an additional strip mall, two apartment buildings, two restaurants, and a medical practice building.

Currently, there is only one paved road to the JRMC. Costs to connect the roads are estimated at about $1 million.
