N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – All residents and businesses in Stutsman County will be receiving a booklet this week containing vital information on emergency preparedness.

Thanks to a $12,000 grant from Homeland Security, the new 32-page booklet will be distributed to over 11,000 residencies in the county starting this Thursday. Emergency Manager Jerry Bergquist worked with the Stutsman County Local Emergency Planning Committee to create and update the original 2007 booklet with new information.

Bergquist stated that all of the information has been updated for Stutsman County residents. He asks individuals to look at it and not throw it away.

There will also be electronic versions of the booklet, which can be found on the Stutsman County website under the Emergency Management tab or at Central Valley Health’s website. Individuals that don’t receive the booklet can pick on up at the Stutsman County Emergency Management Office.
