JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – A winter weather advisory issued by the Bismarck National Weather Service states that between three to five inches of snow is expected in the James River Valley beginning Monday afternoon.

Meteorologist Bill Abeling states that an advisory means that snow is definitely expected to fall in the area.

Abeling points out that the system is moving in from the south, so more areas near the South Dakota boarder will be hit with more snow.
