N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Minnesota man who led Jamestown Law Enforcement on a high-speed chase in Jamestown in March was sentenced Monday to serve two years in prison.

43 year-old Lee Ellingson changed his plea from not guilty to guilty on four charges in the incident. His charges include reckless endangerment and criminal mischief as well as driving under the influence and fleeing a police officer.

According to the report, Ellingson allegedly rammed law enforcement vehicles and tied to run over a police officer. The chase ended when Ellingson was shot by a sheriff’s deputy and a Jamestown Police Officer in Jamestown.
