N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Final schematic designs for the Two Rivers Activity Center have been presented and approved by the Jamestown Parks and Recreation Board, putting it on schedule for groundbreaking in May 2016.

Parks & Rec Director Doug Hogan stated that they are pleased with the project design and progress. He says each new layer of planning completed makes the project more tangible and helps people better appreciate what an asset TRAC will be for the community. Project Architect Brian Berg stated that the design was scaled down to save cost and maximize space usage.

The $28.6 million project bidding will begin March 2016. The groundbreaking for the Two Rivers Activity Center will be May 2016 and the expected completion date is September 2017.
