FARGO, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The West Fargo boys hockey team ran their unbeaten streak to 10 in a row with a non-conference 5-1 win over Jamestown Thursday night in West Fargo.

The Packers held a slim 2-1 lead with 7 minutes to go, but banged in three goals down the stretch to put things out of reach.

The Blue Jays only goal came in the second period when Austin Rene hammered home a rebound, for his team leading 17th goal of the season. 

The Packers outshot the Jays 44-30, with Blue Jay goalie Matthew Schneider coming up with 39 saves. 

West Fargo improved to 13-2-1, and Jamestown slips to 7-7-2.
