CITY, ND – (NewsDakota.com) The city of Valley City will discuss how to manage a 0,000 budget shortfall this year following Governor Jack Dalrymple’s mandatory 4 percent across the board budget cuts in North Dakota.

City Administrator David Schelkoph says department heads will meet on Thursday, February 4th to discuss this issue.

City Auditor Avis Richter says the shortfall is centered on the state’s revenue sharing portion of the state budget.
