(NewsDakota.com) The Milnor-North Sargent boys basketball team used a 12-0 run to start the fourth quarter to propel them to a 73-67 victory at Oakes Thursday night.

Masen Olson lead MNS with 30 points to pick up the Bulldogs 14th win in 16 games this season. The Bulldogs were outscored 22-10 in the third quarter to see the hometown Tornadoes take a six point lead, but the strong start to the fourth quarter, in conjunction with Oakes managing just three points through the first several minutes allowed for the visitors to come out on top in the end.

With the win, MNS improves to 14-2,  and remains 7-1 in Class B Region I.

Oakes (6-9, 1-3 Class B District 5) who had a team high 22 points from Ethan Zetocha, returns to district play Friday night in Kensal against winless Midkota/Kensal. Coverage on KDDR-AM 1220/95.9 FM and NewsDakota.com starts around 7:15, with tip around 7:30 p.m.
