(NewsDakota.com) After a couple of tough games this week in which they just didn’t finish through, the Oakes High School boys basketball dominated from start to finish in a 67-46 victory against Midkota/Kensal in Class B District 5 play.

The Tornadoes (7-9 2-3 District 5) ended their two game losing skid with 10 of the 11 players seeing time contributing on the scoreboard; lead by senior Brody Bartholomew’s 17 points. Ethan Zetocha chipped in 11, and sophomore Tyler Voightman had 10.

The hometown Mustangs are still seeking a victory this season with a mark of 0-16 and 0-5 in the district. Senior Joseph Vollmer’s 15 point were a team high.
