N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Several travel alerts have been issued by the North Dakota Department of Transportation and Highway Patrol for parts of the state today.

Travel Alerts mean conditions allow motorists to travel, but drivers should be advised of rapidly changing conditions. According to the NDDOT, a Travel Alert has been issued for Northeast North Dakota due to icy road conditions, reduced visibility, and strong winds making travel challenging. Communities include Devils Lake, Cando, Rugby, Grand Forks and Pembina.

Another Travel Alert was issued for Southeast North Dakota due to the same conditions making travel difficult. Areas including Fargo, Hillsboro, Casselton, and Wahpeton. Stay tuned to NewsDakota.com for updates in your travel conditions.
