N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – A Four Winds High School teacher has announced his intentions to run for State Superintendent.

Joe Chiang recently announced his bid for State Superintendent of North Dakota. Chiang teaches math and history and serves on the North Dakota State Assessment Task Force. Chiang says the state has been lacking in several topics including math and English.

Chiang pointed out that under current administration, student efficiency would not be able to increase.

Chiang said current administration doesn’t allow teachers to educate in the most efficient way possible.

Chiang will be seeking the Republican endorsement, the Democratic endorsement, the Libertarian endorsement, and the North Dakota United (teacher’s union) endorsement.

Joe currently lives in Tolna, ND with his wife Sharon. He has two sons, a stepson and two stepdaughters. You can learn more about Joe Chiang and ask him questions by clicking here.
