N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The 38th Annual Running O’ The Green brought in nearly 2,000 participants over the weekend.

According to run organizer Larry Knoblich, the event had about 2,100 registered runners. The events focus is to raise funds for Elks Camp Grassick, a camp for special needs individuals near Dawson, North Dakota.

The Jamestown Police Department was also out in full force, helping to maintain a safe environment for the runners. Preliminary reports show 49 arrests for unlawful possession, three for public urination, two for fornicating in public and one for littering.
