N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The student that started the movement of #ND4Flint has gained so much support and momentum that another trip is being planned.

University of Jamestown student Colt Mavity has announced the group is planning a second rendezvous in Flint, Michigan to assist in their current water crisis. Mavity stated that they are planning the trip to leave Jamestown March 31st and return April 2nd.

During the first trip, Mavity and six other students in the state made the 2,000 mile journey and donated over 13,000 water bottles to Flint.

Mavity stated that the second journey was in the planning process and invited anyone to join in. Whether it’s driving down to Flint, donating money to purchase water or just spreading the word, Mavity pointed out that showing North Dakota’s compassion was his main goal.
