N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – A propane blast shook a South Fargo neighborhood this morning at 1331 14th street south around 9:45 AM.

A man was taken to the hospital with some minor burns. Jodi Whitmore lives across this street.

The propane tank, which was outside the garage, started on fire. The flames then spread to the garage. Battalion chief Bruce Anderson.

Firefighters poured water on the tank to keep it cool until all the propane burned off. It’s not known what caused it to catch fire. The garage, a car, and everything inside the garage was destroyed.

Firefighters were able to keep the flames from spreading to the nearby house.
