N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The University of Jamestown has announced their plans for the 30th annual Dine & Bid, the biggest scholarship fundraiser for the University.

This year’s event is called “Pearls with Purpose” and will be a benefit dinner and auction this weekend on Saturday, April 16th at the Larson Center on campus. The event is the largest fundraiser for scholarships to future and current students at the University. An array of items will be up for live and silent auctions with the meal catered by Sodexo.

“University of Jamestown is thrilled to be celebrating 30 years of student scholarship support from alumni, friends, and community members.” said Morgan Bossman, Special Events Coordinator, “This event would not be a success without the overwhelming support we receive from the Jamestown community including: event sponsors, auctioneers, Masters of Ceremonies, committee members, and the numerous businesses and individuals that donate auction items.”

Students get involved by managing valet parking, greeting attendees, displaying items, serving the meal and assisting with auction items. Warren Abrahamson and Casey Stoudt will be the two emcees for the evening.
