N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The members of Central Valley Health in Jamestown will be having planting pinwheels in the Jamestown Arts Garden to remind those of Child Abuse Prevention.

The community partnership meeting will be Thursday at Noon and members will walk over to the Jamestown Arts Garden to plant 259 pinwheels. Executive Director of CVH Robin Iszler points out that the pinwheels symbolize life births in the area in 2014.

“We will be planning 259 pinwheels that symbolize live births in Stutsman and Logan Counties in 2014. The community partnership wants to raise awareness about child abuse and ways to prevent it in our community.” Iszler reports.

The Central Valley Health group provides a list of activities that care givers can do with children on their website at centralvalleyhealth.org. You can join in on the event this Thursday to help plant pinwheels as well.
