CITY, ND – (NewsDakota.com) Faith Lutheran in Valley City  is inviting the community to a fun and meaningful concert tonight at 7 pm.

The concert features the music of singer Peder Eide who has led Christ-centered praise and worship for youth conferences, festivals, camps, churches and other venues teenagers have gathered. So, when Peder says he believes he knows what the youth of today need, he speaks from a platform of experience and authority on the subject as he did in this interview with Steve Urness.

Peder felt God calling him to a heartfelt mission to unite moms and dads and brothers and sisters in one setting where they could “TASTE WORSHIP” together. Through this exciting new ministry, families are exposed to the power of praying with and for one another and are equipped with practical tools that will transform their lives, guiding them into a lifestyle of worship.

Eide says this has proven to be wildly effective on a spiritual level, but equally fun and rewarding for families to grow in their bond together. “My vision is to encourage their connection with Jesus while at the same time helping them to engage with one another. I want to help families worship. My vision is to encourage their connection with Jesus while at the same time helping them to engage with one another in worship at home, work, school, and on vacation.

Meanwhile Peder Eide has received airplay and support from over 200 radio stations across the country. He’s had several songs recognized on the National Inspirational Charts including his Top 10 single “Roll the Stone Away.”

As an active artist/spokesperson for Compassion International, Eide is humbled to have seen hundreds of third world children sponsored through his ministry. He has also experienced the joy of his own family sponsoring many children.  He along with his wife Sherri, have further invested in the needs of children by internationally adopting two kids of their own, Makenzie and Teshome. Combined with their three biological children of Taylor, Allison, and Ethan, the Eide’s have uniquely tasted worship together and have truly seen the goodness of the Lord.

Tickets for the Valley City concert are $10 and can be purchased at Faith Lutheran Church, 309 4th St NE in Valley City or the night of the concert. Preschoolers are free. Concessions will be available for a free-will offering after the concert. This is Peder Eide’s first concert in Valley City.
