N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Two longtime members of the Carrington community will be honored this Sunday, April 24th during a community appreciation open house.

Ron & Bonnie Wenaas will be honored at Calvary Baptist Church from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and the entire community is invited. Both were previous owners of Carrington’s Supervalu Foods, which has been a family-owned business for the past 70 years. Carrington Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Laurie Dietz stated that both have been valuable members of the community.

Dietz pointed out that they have also been valuable members of the community from a business standpoint.

Ron Wenaas was honored as an honorary lifetime member during the Chamber of Commerce’s annual meeting. The open house will be from 2 PM to 4 PM at the Calvary Baptist Church.
