CITY, ND – (NewsDakota.com) Southeast District Judge Jay Schmitz ruled that a Valley City man is guilty of disorderly conduct following a bench trial on April 11th in Barnes County.

Brian Mindt was accused of harassing and shouting racial slurs at a Fed Ex driver during a September 29th 2015 delivery to Mindt’s business in Valley City. According to Judge Schmitz, Mindt will be sentenced at a later date.

A Class B Misdemeanor for disorderly conduct carries a maximum sentence of 30 days in jail and or a $1,500 fine.
