(NewsDakota.com) – Former University of Jamestown linebacker Jarelle Miller is headed to Minneapolis to participate in the Minnesota Vikings rookie mini-camp. He played his entire collegiate career as a Jimmie coming from Orlando, FL.

Miller was the Jimmies leading tackler in 2014 and 2015. In 2014, he was named the NSAA Defensive Player of the Year and a second-team All-American.

Miller competed in both NDSU’s Pro Day and the Regional Combine in Minneapolis in an attempt to make his NFL dream a reality.  Another dream of his will also come to fruition this weekend when he receives his diploma in criminal justice from Jamestown.

The mini-camp will take place Thursday through Saturday at the Vikings facility at Winter Park.
