N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Jamestown Police are investigating an accident after a 16 year-old male on a bike was struck by a truck Tuesday afternoon.

According to a report, the incident occurred at around 3:40 PM at the intersection of 3rd Street and 7th Avenue Southeast. The teenager was riding his bike in the street and was injured after being struck by an RTS Shearing truck. Sgt. John Johnson stated that since it’s an ongoing investigation, there have been no updates as of Wednesday.

“We’re still trying to piece it together. We don’t have the condition of the teen at this point so we’ll continue the investigation.” he stated.

The teen was taken to the JRMC with undisclosed injuries. More will be reported when the investigation is complete.
