CITY, ND – (NewsDakota.com) Barnes County Sheriff, Randy McClaflin is inviting all Barnes County farmers and truck drivers to contact the office if they have questions about the weight they can legally haul in their semi-trucks and other farm trucks.

The Sheriff’s Office invites you to call and set up an appointment. Deputies would come out to your location and show you what your legal weight limits would be.

For example, trucks might be registered for 88,000 pounds, but you might not have the length or axles needed to haul 88,000 pounds.

McClaflin says anyone with question or those who would like to set up an appointment should call the Barnes County Sheriff’s office at 701-845-8530.
