CITY, ND – (NewsDakota.com) Nothing irregular was discovered following an investigation by the Community Service Board concerning a complaint filed by Robert Drake that accused Valley City Police Lt. David Swenson of overlapping his city work hours along with those as the Community Service officer for Barnes County.

Community Service board member Carl Martineck says even though the amount of hours was excessive nothing irregular was uncovered during the investigation. Martineck says the investigation is closed unless additional evidence is brought forward.

Martineck says the Community Service Board will develop a manual on policies and procedures concerning the Community Service Program.
