N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Dr. Dawn’s Pet Stop in Jamestown celebrated Dairy Month with their very own Dairy Day on Thursday, June 16th.

Dr. Dawn Entzminger first opened her practice in 2010 and has celebrated June Dairy Month with a Dairy Day for the last five years. Kids were treated to live calves, face painting, dairy trivia, and met with a cow mascot. Dr. Entzminger stated that the event has grown every year.

“Last year, we had only two cows. It was difficult for all the kids and adults coming through to look at just one pair of cows. So this year, we brought in six,” she pointed out.

The cows are provided every year by life-long dairy farm owner Terry Entzminger.

Kids from summer school and daycare were brought in to pet the cows and participate in all the fun. Below are some pictures from the festivities.
