N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Jamestown City Fire crews were called out early Friday to a fire at Cavendish Farms East of Jamestown.

Lt. Sheldon Mohr stated that the department was contacted at around 5:29 AM this morning to the potato plant roughly 4 miles east of Jamestown.

Mohr says the fire was between two fryers and caused minor damage to the area. 29 firefighters were on scene.

There were no reported injuries. There’s no information on what caused the fire and it remains under investigation by the Jamestown Fire Department.
