N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Edgewood REIT broke ground of the new Edgewood Senior Living Center in Spring and construction is continuing at a steady pace.

The new center will be located at 1104 25th Street Southwest and provide more than 70 apartments, assisted living and memory care services. The $8 million construction project had estimated a Spring 2016 open date, but has since pushed it back to Fall 2016. Regional Vice President for Edgewood Char Schmidt.

Schmidt estimates that the new center will create 40 to 50 new jobs for Jamestown. She says the care that Edgewood will provide is diverse and unique.

President/COO of Edgewood Management Group Russell G. Kubik stated in a release that they are excited to join the Jamestown Community.

“We are extremely excited to become part of the Jamestown community and bring our assisted living and memory care services and many amenities to the area,” says Russell G. Kubik, President/COO of Edgewood Management Group. “Residents of Jamestown and surrounding areas will be able to have their loved ones closer to home in our state of the art community,” continued Kubik.

Schmidt says that Edgewood will join its other North Dakota locations in providing both assisted living care, but also memory loss care.

The Jamestown center is estimated to open September 1st, 2016.
