N.D.  (NewsDakota.com)  After a week off, Post 25 returned to the field on Wednesday afternoon for a single 9-inning, non-region game with Jamestown Post 14, Post 25 won the game 7-2 and improves to 5-3-1 overall, Jamestown drops to 5-13.

Garrett Bickett made his pitching debut on the mound for Post 25, getting the complete game victory, allowing just two runs on eight hits, two strikeouts, two walks and one hit batsman.  After allowing two runs in the bottom of the first inning, Bickett was lights out throwing eight innings of shutout baseball and at one point, retired nine in a row.  Dawson Douty took the loss, working four innings, four runs, two strikeouts, three hits and three hit batters.  Drew Murray worked five innings in relief giving up three runs and three hits.  At the plate for Post 25, cleanup batter Easton Paeper was 2-for-4, with a two RBI double and scored two runs.  For Post 14, Hunter Beckman and Andrew Haugland had two hits each.

Next up for Carrington, will be Thursday afternoon in Hatton for a Central Region match-up with the defending Central Region champs.  Two 7-inning games are scheduled to start at 5pm, expect pregame at 4:45pm on AM 1600 KDAK and newsdakota.com.
