CARRINGTON, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The newly formed Carrington Garden Club recently held a local competition to create a new logo for their organization.

The garden club was formed late last year with the beautification of Carrington in mind. Laurie Dietz, Executive Director of the Carrington Chamber of Commerce, stated that they’ve put baskets up in the community and have already made a big difference.

Dietz pointed out that Garden Club member’s looked at getting a logo to use for their club’s brand.

The club voted on the several entries they received from Pegs Johnson’s 8th Grade Art Class and selected Madison Richter’s entry.

The logo will now be the club’s for future marketing and promotions in the future.
