Rudolph Dockter, 75, Clarkston, MI died July 7, 2016 at a result of an automobile accident. Reo was born August 29, 1940 the son of Rudolph Dockter and Esther (Dockter) Dockter. He received his elementary education in Streeter, graduating from the Streeter High School in 1958. He worked on the family farm until he enlisted in the United States Air Force.

Loving husband of Deborah for 35 years; caring father of Robert (Janice) Dockter, Kirk (Angie) Dockter, Aaron (Kim) Dockter, LeRoy Dockter, Marcus (Jen) Dockter, and the late Lauri (Harold) Walker; beloved grandfather of Aimee (Ricky) Castaneda, Amanda Dockter, Kayla (Joe) Makki, Stephanie (Mike) Ballard, Falesha Koop, Zachary Dockter, Kendal Dockter, Mea Dockter, and Audrey Dockter; cherished great grandfather of Cecily, Jacob, Gage, Zoey, Karter, and Kacie; dear brother of Lenard Dockter, Darrell (Marg) Dockter, Jim (Tudy) Dockter, Judy Dockter-Eder, Kenneth (Florence) Dockter, Mark (Kathy) Dockter, Dottie (Kent) Dockter-Elhard and the late Paul Dockter; son of the late Rudolph and Esther Dockter; son-in-law of Ed and Betty Bauer; and brother-in-law to George Bauer, Ted (Teri) Bauer, Sam Bauer, and Theresa (Mike Morningstar) Bauer. Also loved by many nieces, nephews, step-grandchildren and dear friends. Mr. Dockter was a veteran of the United States Air Force. He was employed by the General Motors Corporation for over 50 years until his retirement this year and loved motorcycles and cars.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, July 12, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Oakland Woods Baptist Church, 5628 Maybee Road, Clarkston. The family will receive friends Monday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Church. Arrangements by the Riverside Chapel, Simpson-Modetz Funeral Home, 5630 Pontiac Lake Road, Waterford.

Second Funeral Services will be at 11:00 AM Friday, July 15, 2016 in St. Luke Lutheran Church in Streeter, ND with Rev. Ryan Ferwerda, pastor officiating.

Visitation: Family will receive friends from 6:30-8:00 PM Thursday, July 14 at Haut Funeral Home and 1 hour before services at the Church.

Burial will take place in St. Luke’s Lutheran Cemetery at Streeter, ND.
