N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Jamestown HOG Chapter 1955 created the “Bikers for Kids Ride” three years ago to help out Community Region VI.

The ride will have bikers traveling a total of 125 miles to raise awareness and funds for the Weekend Backpack for Kids program. Jan Wiese with the HOG Chapter stated that the ride will cover a large area and return where they start on Sunday, July 24th.

Sarah Oberlander, Food Pantry Coordinator, stated that the ride helps benefit their backpack program, which feeds kids in need.

Oberlander reported that over 80 backpacks were distributed last year and over 120 in 2014. The ride will be held on Sunday, July 24th. Registration starts at 10:00 AM at Stutsman Harley Davidson. You can call Jan Wiese at 701-320-1861 for more information.
