CITY, ND – (NewsDakota.com) Valley City is on pace for another record year of building permits.

City Building Inspector Dave Andersen says, more than $31 million dollars in permits have been pulled so far this year and more on the way.

Andersen says VCSU heating plant and the Sheyenne Care Center Renovations will bring up the biggest share this year.

Last year more than $35 million dollars in building permits were reported in Valley City including a total of $50 million dollars throughout all of Barnes County.
