CITY, ND – (NewsDakota.com) Valley City Public Schools is excited to announce a new opportunity for our students, parents, and the community to stay tuned to what is going on in our school district.  At the beginning of August, the district will be unveiling a new Facebook and Twitter page.

Superintendent Josh Johnson says we look forward to using these sites to celebrate student accomplishments, share important information, and provide reminders to big events happening within the schools.  Please look for these sites to be up and running on Monday, August 1st.

He says the school district will continue to provide information to our students and parents through the district email listserv, website, and PowerSchool alerts.  Our goal is to provide timely communications to our parents and stakeholders and ensure that everyone knows the great things that are happening with our students and staff in the school district.

Johnson says while we will no longer be distributing a district newsletter, we will continue to partner with our local media to disseminate information to our community through the Valley City Times Record, KOVC Radio, and NewsDakota.com
