CITY, ND – (NewsDakota.com) A 20 year-old Valley City man is lucky to be alive after two men pointed a gun in his face after he opened his door. Christian Swenson told police he had to fight for his life struggling to defend himself against the men. One man choked Swenson until he was unconscious.
Police Chief Fred Thompson says the men left that residence and then knocked on the door of 22 year-old Shawn Albert Bear. The men then allegedly pointed a gun into Bear’s face. The men forced the man’s girlfriend to locate a female juvenile, which she did. The juvenile told police she was taken to a gas station in Valley City against her will. She escaped and called police.
23 year-old Johannes Brannan of Finley and 22 year-old Drew Gullicks of Valley City face terrorizing, kidnapping and burglary charges stemming from this Sunday night incident in Valley City.
