N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – An idea that started in July has grown into a successful drive for one Jamestown woman.

Cassie DuBray, a member of the North Dakota Region 6 Homeless Coalition, stated that there was a severe lack of diapers at several organizations in Jamestown.

DuBray set a goal of $1,000 to buy diapers to donate and created a CrowdRise page, which to this point has raised $242 in personal donations.

On Monday, August 29th, DuBray received a major boost from Hugo’s Family Marketplace.

“(They) donated $753 worth in diapers and wipes to the Jamestown Diaper Drive,” DuBray stated in a release. “The three area agencies receiving the donation of diapers are the Salvation Army and Community Action Region VI.”

Hugo’s placed a special diaper order for the event. Click here to read the original story.
