N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The community of Jamestown will have to wait just a little longer for the new bookmobile.

The James River Valley Library System’s new bookmobile was reportedly not built to specifications and other items of the custom build machine were not according to the plan. Development Director Bill Kennedy stated that the board and contractor are working to resolve the issues.

“Errors were made in the construction of the bookmobile body ordered by James River Valley Library System,” Kennedy pointed out. “Contractor OBS is working to resolve the issues, but the bookmobile, originally scheduled for a November delivery, will be delayed in order to resolve the issues.”

The $210,000 bookmobile was originally estimated to be delivered in October.
