N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Jamestown City Council will be holding a special Solid Waste (Recycling) and Budget Meeting Today at 3 PM.

The meeting will focus on the two bids received regarding recycling in the community. Councilwoman Pam Phillips has more.

The topic of recycling has been a hot-button issue recently. Phillips stated that Tuesday’s meeting will be vital for community members to attend because once the bid is approved, it will set in motion recycling for everyone.

The city is currently weighing the two bids received to provide curbside recycling in Jamestown. Phillips said a decision would be made during the Tuesday meeting along with finalizing the budget for 2017.
