N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Jamestown Fire Department was called out to the Stutsman County Law Enforcement Center for a reported gas leak Thursday morning.

The call came in around 8:45 AM for a reported gas leak according to Lt. Sheldon Mohr.

Occupants of the courthouse and Law Enforcement Center were evacuated as a precaution. Lt. Mohr reported that Montana Dakota Utilities arrived on scene to shut off the gas supply.

The leak was contained at around 9:22 AM with the building’s HVAC unit being used to extract the gas from the building.
