N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – State Representative Jessica Haak has been a big proponent of combatting sexual abuse crimes and human trafficking in the state since taking her position.

So, she used the power of social media to up the stakes for state residents.

In an October 14th post to Facebook, Representative Haak states that she grew tired of the finger pointing.

“…People want to talk about who raped who and how bad actions of either side is, well let’s work on stopping college students from getting raped, let’s quit victim shaming, let’s take this opportunity to quit pointing fingers and actually do something to end assault and abuse,” Haak states in the post.

Haak says the response was overwhelming and that she would be making the donation to the SAFE shelter in Jamestown on Thursday, October 27th.

Earlier this week, State Democrats were asking State Republicans to pull support from presidential nominee Donald Trump following the sexual assault accusations.
